Thank you for visiting my Falmouth Road Race® runner site. I am excited to be once again participating in this event to raise funds for Compassionate Care ALS in memory of Matt. Raising funds from the Falmouth Road Race will allow CCALS to continue to provide direct services and durable goods to ALS patients, their families, caregivers and for the renovation of the former Beach Rose B&B to be an ALS retreat center. Please help this wonderful organization continue serving others living with ALS.
This year I will once again be pushing Arthur Cohen a great man who was diagnosed with ALS in 2014. After his diagnosis Arthur had to close his very successful photography studio in NYC and started making "pickals". He said, "When life hands you lemons, you're supposed to make lemonade". But Arthur felt pickles were more his thing. Plus, he already had an awesome recipe. Over the years, his flavorful, garlicky pickles had become an obsession among his family, friends and neighbors. Arthur donates 100% of the profits to finding a cure for ALS. Please visit his web site, Pickals.org to learn more about his story and buy some of his awesome pickals.
