Annika Johnson has raised $750 for ALS

Hey guys! Me again, back with another fundraiser- and this time, instead of shaving my head I'm doing something WAY scarier- I'm running/trotting/crawling the 7.1 mile Falmouth Road Race!
As most of you know, my Dad was diagnosed in 2012 with ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease. This disease was hardly known to the public until the tremendously popular "Ice Bucket Challenge" in 2014. A lot of fundraising occurred over the period of a few weeks, but as anyone with personal ties to this terminal disease knows, there's a lot of progress still to be made.
In late August, I will be running for the charity Compassionate Care ALS (CCALS). The Falmouth Road Race is their top fundraiser all year, and I'm hoping to add a significant contribution raised by friends and family. CCALS provides medical and lifestyle care to families and individuals affected by ALS- they've been a huge supporter of my family as my dad has become progressively less mobile over time and needed more intensive and thorough care and support. CCALS is a charity very close to me and my family, and I hope you will consider donating towards my "bib" and support other families affected by the terrible disease that is ALS. Thank you for your time and your support, and I'll update you before and after the race (if I survive!)
