About the Race

For the past 17 years Compassionate Care ALS has raised a significant portion of our annual income through a partnership with the Falmouth Road Race. In 2018, our goal is to raise $300,000 to support our ALS Patient, Family and Caregiver Program.

Confirming and Picking Up Numbers

This year Compassionate Care ALS runners will receive numbers through the Falmouth Road Race. Number pick up will follow Falmouth Road Race procedures.  Please visit our booth at the runners expo to drop off your checks and get your CCALS running shirt, socks and other surprises.

Course Route

The race is seven miles long and begins in front of the Woods Hole Community Center, near the drawbridge on Water Street. The first three miles are narrow, hilly, winding tree-shaded roads, while the last four miles are open on the flat right next to Martha's Vineyard Sound. A small steep hill lets you know that you are beginning the last half-mile of the race. Once you crest the hill it is "all downhill" to the finish.
