Raised $1,500.20 of $1,500 Goal
I am honored to be once again running on behalf of Compassionate Cares ALS.
I’ll be running in memory of my father, Paul, who lost his battle with ALS in 2020 at the age of 57. I’m running to honor the incredible doctors, scientists, nurses, and advocates working tirelessly to find a cure for this devastating disease. And most importantly, I’m running for myself.
My father’s ALS was genetic, and from the moment he was diagnosed, he devoted himself to helping find a cure. He was patient #1 in the BIB078 genetic trial, proud to contribute to groundbreaking ALS research and to know that his participation could help his daughters in the future. Today, I’m honored to continue his legacy through participating in two clinical trials at MGH, as well as through running marathons, supporting legislation, fundraising for ALS organizations, and sharing our story.
Science is incredible, and there’s real hope on the horizon — but we need continued funding to make it all happen. Since 2019, I’ve raised over $90,000 for ALS organizations, thanks to the generosity and encouragement of so many of you. I’m deeply grateful for your support from day one.
I am honored to join a group of runners from Nantucket. This community is incredible and we are lucky to have each other.
