I am honored to have the opportunity to run the Falmouth Road Race in memory of my mom, Ann Sermos, who lost the fight to ALS in 2023. I run as a member of the CCALS team, and all funds raised through this effort provide direct services and durable goods to ALS patients, their families, and their caregivers. Every contribution, no matter the amount, is greatly appreciated and impactful. I am fortunate to run behind my sisters, family, friends, and girlfriend Hannah Falewicz as part of Grannie's Gang. My mom was an Instructional Assistant at Sanborn Elementary School in Andover MA for 17 years until her struggle with ALS forced her retirement in 2022. Her loss has impacted countless lives- for everyone from family and friends to colleagues, students, and everyone else she has encountered. But her greatest impact has been the positive influence that she has imparted on all of us. Thank you to all of you who have donated to us in the past and who continue to support our cause.
