Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the 2026 Falmouth Road Race to support Compassionate Care ALS! I am excited to run this race’s seven miles in support of an organization that means so much to me. Funds raised from the Falmouth Road Race allow Compassionate Care ALS to provide direct services and durable goods to ALS patients, their families, and their caregivers. Please give generously and assist us in making a difference in the lives of those affected by ALS! CCALS is a phenomenal local nonprofit. Their mission is to support people diagnosed with ALS, as well as their families and communities, as they navigate the diagnosis and the many complexities of this disease.  One major goal of CCALS is to equip ALS families with items to help make their homes and lives more accessible- ranging from power wheelchairs, ramps, and lift assists to technology like Eye Gaze to aid in communication. Over the past two years, I have witnessed the tremendous impact the generosity of CCALS can have on a family. CCALS fulfills their mission by hosting several fantastic (and accessible!) fundraising events throughout the year. Every summer, the Falmouth Road Race is a major event for nonprofit organizations. CCALS does SO MANY incredible things to help make a difference in the lives of those living with ALS. I am running on a team representing Katie's Cure. My friend, Katie DeGregorio Silvestri, was diagnosed with ALS just 3 months after having her daughter, Sophia. Katie was only 34 years old when she got this news. I am lucky to know Katie, and it is a privilege to run for her again this year. I greatly appreciate any support in helping Team Katie reach our fundraising goals for CCALS!
